| Mark Rusling, Chair |
|
Mark is a Yorkshireman, currently exiled in London, where he works for the United Nations Association of the UK. He has previously worked as a lawyer and as a researcher for Linda Perham MP. He has served on the Executive as the co-opted Schools Project Officer and elected Policy & Publications Officer, International & Embassies Officer and Vice-Chair. Last year, he co-edited and wrote the Young Fabian-Unite pamphlet 'Stopping the Far Right: how progressive politics can tackle political extremism'. Mark's main interests in politics are foreign policy and educational affairs and he also sits on the Under 35s Steering Group at Chatham House. He is a member of Walthamstow CLP. As Chair, Mark would like to enhance the Young Fabians' contacts with government and with all sections of the labour movement. He will be convening Young Fabian policy groups to feed into Labour's policy-making process as the Society continues to arrange policy, campaigning, embassy and social events throughout the year. If anybody would like to discuss anything connected with the Young Fabians' work, or would like to collaborate with the Young Fabians, please contact Mark. Contact Mark:
