In association with Progress and Young Labour, we will be hosting a speech by Rt Hon David Miliband MP, Secretary of State for Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs, in which he will be tackling the issue of how Britain can best promote democracy and human rights. Time: 6pm till 7pm
In this speech David Miliband will set out the challenges facing progressives in the field of international affairs, in the third of five ministerial speeches contributing to Progress' 'progressive challenge' campaign. The event will be chaired by Karen Pollock, Co-Chair of the Progress policy group on progressive internationalism.
