Dr Nafeez Ahmed is an author and academic, specialising in international relations. He has previously written on the 9/11 terror attacks and the London bombings, and he lectures at the University of Sussex. Young Fabian New Media Officer, Alex Baker, caught up with Dr Ahmed to discuss his forthcoming book "A User's guide to crisis of civilization: and how to save it", in which Dr Ahmed argues that existing methods of analysing various crises affecting the world currently are inadequate if we are to prevent a 'crisis of civilization'.
